Alesis Midiverb 4 reviews?.

When you mention processor the names that
are mentioned most around here is Peaveys
Profex and tubefex units and Lexicons MPX series.
You rarely hear about anyone using the Alesis
Midiverb 4.
I was just wondering why? Can anyone out there who is currently using one, or
has so in the past, share their thoughts
on this processor?
I'm currently using a Profex ll and i'm
considering a change.

You wouldn't be gaining anything going to a Midiverb, They are menu driven and hard to change settings on the fly, I gave mine away.

Bob,

Keep your profex and get a lexicon MPX-100 for reverb. It has great sounds and is inexpensive (relative term

)and the reverbs are rich and lush. Use the profex for your other effects.

The Midiverb is also reportedly quite noisy as well.

And, If you are useing a Profex II,What do you need the MidiVerb for anyway ????
