Volume Pedal Feet

Post by Chris Schlotzhauer »

This has been discussed before, but I can't find any search results, so...what is a good replacement for the little screw/grommets (or feet) that fall off the bottoms of your volume pedals? I use Goodrich pedals.
Thanks

Call Goodrich and get the original parts from them!

Chris,
Mouser Electronics has a large selection of these.
They are located in Kennedale TX.

Scotty lists the replacement feet on their web site.

I had some fall off one of my Goodrich pedals. I couldn't find any the same size (height) at several electronics parts houses or in any catalogs or on-line. They must use a bastard size

I got tired of replacing these so I took a strip of shelve rubber mat and contact cemented it between the screws. It was as thick as the former grommets and it has never fallen off or worn out. Doesn't wobble either. Keep it the same thickness as the former grommets or your leg will surely cramp after playing at one heighth for so long.

Paul, now that's the kind of inovative, shade tree solution I'm looking for. I hate to go through the hassle of mail order for screws! I will try a similar method.
Thank you.

I did the same thing as Paul. I found a piece of nubby floor mat (used in machine shops to remove the metal chips from your shoes) and cut a piece the same size as the bottom of the pedal, and just glued it on with weatherstrip adhesive. It's served the purpose for about 25 years!

I must be doing something wrong....I've never had any come off yet.

After saying that with In a week they'll all fall off.

Me either and I've been using the same L120 for 20 years, but I use the pedal bar clamp which probably helps keep it from moving around. Image It still has the original pot too.

15 years ago I replaced the junk rubber screw-on feet on my Sho-Bud volume pedal with a set of 5/8" or 3/4" glue-on rubber feet. This pedal has been slammed around and has traveled with me for all these years. The glue-on feet are still as good as new.
