I'm looking for a CD burner program that will normalize the volume of all the tracks that are put on the CD. IOW, if a track is louder than the rest, it will automatically ajust the volume before burning the track.
Two programs that 'Normalize" which I know of are ExactAudioCopy and CDex, both are free: http://www.exactaudiocopy.de/http://www.cdex.n3.net/
Both are ripper/ mp3 converters, but ExactAudioCopy also can burn CDs.

"Cool Edit Pro" also has that feature.
works very well. I check everything I put on CD's Also if you want to bring up the volumne a bit(say like on a Steel ride or turnaround),you can tweak that part first, then "Normalize" the whole song.
I use Goldwave and you can download it. It is a great program and has lots of features including normalizing and time warp and EQ. If you need more info feel free to email me.
