Mozilla?
I'm not real keen on changing computer stuff--being pretty clueless, I've had near catastrophes and major frustrations after mucking around with my systems. But the latest IE security issues have finally gotten me to want to get safer.
Anything I should know about Mozilla Firefox 0.9? Can I confidently just go and download & install it (on my Home XP)? Or is there something else I ought to try instead?
I'm itching to go....hoping for a quick & simple answer.

I used it for my default browser instead of Internet Exploiter until I traded my PC for a Mac. It's a good browser with the ability to stop popup windows. The only problem I encountered with it is that occasionally the bookmark icons (like the Steel Guitar Forum has) would disappear.
It's worth the download in my opinion.

Thanks guys. I've downloaded it and I'm now using it. I'm a little bent out of shape because I'm a creature of comfort and habit and I hate any little change that makes me have to think. I wish I could get the default font size and type back to what I was used to but I'll work this out. Bottom line--there are no doubt cool features that I will gradually learn but more important: I am hopefully clear from the security holes in (and criminal attacks against) IE.
