Back Home In Tennessee
Well I have made the great move back home to the Nashville area and I must say it feels great to be HOME AGAIN! I have sure missed this place and all my friends.Things are going to be busy for me again and I am really glad of that.I am going to help Charlie Stepp with the Derby guitars here in Nashville, and will be going to Louisville Ky. once or twice a week. I am also going to be back playing full time where and when I can. Now, between that and riding my Harley and Bass fishing I hope to stay plenty busy.I have also been known to smoke a fine cigar or two at the Cigar Club in Rivergate on a daily basis .I am also planning a new CD project after the first of the year which I hope all of you will purchase. Well again I want to say it is GREAT TO BE HOME!

I've been wondering what happened to you. I can definitely relate to the whole Carolina coast back to TN moving experience living in Mt. Pleasant & working in Charleston for 3 & 1/2 yrs. Although we left some good friends there, I really started missing fixing me up some boiled peanuts. Well wouldn't you know it, the wife came home with a big bag of jumbos as I guess the crop was good this yr. So I'm stylin' now! It'd be funny if there was a "boiled peanuts forum" ran somewhere on the SC coast. No problem acquiring a taste for those things.
Anyway, I'm still very much enjoying my Derby. It is my 'default' guitar & as the circumstances were, the RIGHT instrument for me. And once again, I really appreciate your recommendation.
Shoot me an e-mail & let's try to meet sometime. Welcome home.

Thanks everyone for the Welcome Back! Richard Bass what a great guitar player he is and one of my favorites!I am feeling much better and I hope to do the Derby company well. I have been with them since 98 now thanks to a few of my friends like Lynn Owsley and Dale Wagner.I will be doing some steel shows with Charlie and I had a great time in St. Louis this year. You will always have fun with Lynn and Billy Robinson and Ronnie Dale. It took me a week to recover from that MUCH FUN!
